Jeanette Beckham, a Speech Language Pathologist, has been making a difference as staffer for OptimALL Services for four years, after having spent six years in her profession.
"I'm happy to be here," Jeanette said recently of her work at Xavier Jesuit Academy in the Bond Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati. "It's a great school, a great team, and a great group of students."
Jeanette appreciates the most how her job at OptimALL allows her to integrate her faith into her teaching.
"I really love working with OptimALL. I love that we are able to be in an environment where it is centered around Christ," she shared. "And that we are able to pray for our students and pray with our students, and it's okay to do so."

Jeanette’s work involves helping students with their articulation, pragmatics, reading, and language skills.
"I am seeing students for speech therapy, to work on sounds and language skills," Jeanette explained.
She focuses on comprehension, sentence expansion, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatics skills, all of which help in the classroom.
She shared, "It warms my heart to see a student that came to me initially not being able to say a sound or use a sound in conversation, and to have them use those strategies independently." Speech Pathology is a very rewarding field."
The students at OptimALL are not just numbers to Jeanette; she values them deeply.
"I love the students. They're funny, they are definitely respectful young boys. They are overall a great group of kids," she said. She also went on to praise the work environment at OptimALL. "We are a great team. We all have that same mindset of putting the student first."
Jeanette Beckham's experience at OptimALL Services is a story of blending faith with education to enhance the learning experience for young students, making every day both a teaching and a spiritual journey.
